How much does Scouting Cost?
Fees for the 2021-2022 Scouting year are $128 per Scout
Fee breakdown: BSA Membership Fee: $66/year, Far East Council: $12/year New Scout fee: $25 one-time fee. BSA registration fees run concurrent with the calendar year (Jan-Dec), however our scouting program runs with runs with the school year. So if you are new to BSA you will pay the prorated fee of $6.50 per month for every month left in 2021 and the $103 for 2022.
The fees include the Pack dues of $25/school year which covers your Scouts achievements (rank patch, badges, pins / belt loops etc), Pinewood Derby Car and Rain-gutter Regatta Boat.
Your Scout will also need a handbook and a uniform totaling approximately $90. These items can be purchased online please go to our uniform information page to see which items you should order. Some of these items can also be purchased second hand from the thrift shop or another scout in the pack.
