Far East Council

Far East Council

The Far East Council provides the programs and services of the Boy Scouts of America to more than 2,500 young people and 1,000 volunteers in Asia. The Council is led by a volunteer Executive Board of community and business leaders and supported by Scout Executive Karen Meier.

The Council serves the following communities with three geographically divided districts led by a committee of volunteers and each supported by a full-time District Executive:

• • Asia East District - Central and Eastern Japan

  • Asia West District - South Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand

  • Asia Central District - Southern Mainland Japan and Okinawa
